Bad design is good for oral care

Now I'm done with aligners and permanent retainers. They are snug fitting and lightly touch the gums. The Pultool has a pretty good arc from the shank to the end of the instrument and eventually you have to pierce the gum a bit to hook the edge of the mounts and once you've done that the instrument pulls down the sides of the mount. If anything, it twists the mount enough to make it harder to remove. I understand that any dental or medical equipment has a higher price tag, but that's just…

Saliva stays in and aligners are easy to remove

Great product. I keep my nails trimmed and removing the aligners almost always ruins the nail polish on my thumbs. This problem is 100% eliminated. I have no problem getting under my aligners because I cut them so they don't touch the gumline so the instrument can grip. Looking back, I realized that for a dollar or two more I could get 2 or 3 tools, so $5 for one isn't the best price, but it's my fault for not looking around until I bought this one. Definitely no more saliva oozing out of my…

A must have for Invisalign

My daughter got her Invisalign splints a week ago and was in a lot of pain for the first few days. Part of the pain was due to her difficulty removing the top tray, which caused further irritation. It took her almost 5+ minutes to remove it due to the pain. This happened on day 3 with her aligners and she was able to take them out in less than 30 seconds. Too bad I didn't buy them before she got them so she wouldn't have to suffer so much. It's also great because it fits snugly in her suitcase…

Best for placing aligners on tips

Nice tool but I wouldn't recommend using it alone as I found it was too easy to bleed gums using it with anything else used as front teeth. I have 18 spikes (little bumps on my front teeth) that make it difficult to remove the aligners. I find what works best for me is a small piece of paper towel (not tissue paper) between two fingers so I can get a good grip on the aligner near my back teeth and remove it from either side of the teeth. This works until he hits the fang. Then use your nails to

You have to have these things!

This is my second review of leveling tools (I've bought more than one) and my review is similar to both with a slight difference in performance. If you've recently started orthodontics with clear aligners and like me, have been panicking and thinking you can't get your mouthguard out of your mouth, click ADD TO CART now! So far I've tried two different brands and they seem to be somewhat similar, with this brand edging out the other by a small margin. I've had an insane amount of time to take…

Save your manicure - use this little tool!

I have weak nails, made even weaker by years of using artificial nail products like silk powder and gel shellac. When I started using Invisalign 6 weeks ago I could only pull them out with my fingers but after a few weeks I ruined my nails. I figured I couldn't be the only woman using Invisalign and wanting beautiful nails, so I looked online to see what other users were doing and read about using small dental floss to remove retainers, which I did tried. They work, but not as well as this…
