The glass shade was packed well enough and the wiring looks safe, but this fixture is not a good value. The light socket is, as pictured, not fully covered so you see the black plastic fitting all the time. The brushed nickel is more like brushed steel than the other brushed nickel fittings I have. I bought this for a pantry and put a 60 watt LED bulb in. It’s not enough light and I thought it would be for the small space. I’d need two of these but don’t have wiring for it. I will need a new fixture with two bulbs. The style in person is even more Farmhouse looking than I thought which is not my current style. Nice fixture in the black matte . bigger than I thought but will look great once up. I bought 2 to match the entry and kitchen sight line. The glass is nice and thick - not cheap looking and does not hang too low which is what I needed.I love the black so it will match all my other black light fixtures, commercial faucet, cast iron casters on island. sweet!

Absolutely love these fixtures! They are exactly what I wanted! Beautiful "bubble” glass and matte black base. They provide such a pretty look to my hallway (2 fixtures) and laundry room (1 fixture). We really like the look of this light, and are glad that we bought it more for the eye rather than the functional use of the "light". we already have can lights but wanted to put something pleasing above the kitchen sink, for a good price, so we bought this light. we love the textured glass, but it is a bit smaller than we imagined, even after measuring and making sure it would fit. Great light. if you want this light for actual lighting, I would recommend getting a bigger one or multiple

We used this to replace the chandelier in our dining room that is currently being used as a playroom for our young children. It's a bit small for the room, but it lights the room fine, and I don't bump my head on it like the fixture we replaced. Easy installation and overall great value. Eventually it will get moved into our walk-in closet when we feel like forking more money out for the dining room fixture.

The unit I received has a ground wire screw like this. Not this matters that much, but still, I wanted to skip reviewing this but I just want to share the image for others to see and give me some idea.Not that attractive looking but fine for the price point. If you have designer lighting in other parts of the room, don’t consider this, trust me, it looks terrible.

Nice light fixture if you don’t require bright light. I used an Edison bulb for a vintage look and it’s fine for my purposes but not a great choice if you need bright light.

Beautiful! EASY to install. Nice little boxes to insert each wire and tighten with screw. Older house with multi-switch wires did force us to cut wire and use usual twist-on connectors. Match all my other industrial/farmhouse fixtures. Not sure why lightweight is a rating- it’s as heavy as you would expect for this size of glass shade.

Finally decided to get rid of the old, dated boob light fixture. This was perfect and it looks modern. Will be buying another one for the other hallway. Hired an electrician to install it. Bought the cool lightbulb that Walmart recommended.
