Makes it bright white opaque. I replaced them with black ones and they looked much better. Shows everything below that has an error. I photographed black and it looks much cleaner. But black shows all dirt particles. I still like black better

I installed these steps over light gray travertine vinyl tile on a small staircase. The steps are almost invisible. So far it's holding up well (one month after application). My dog can climb stairs without slipping.

We bought it for our older dog Charlie with a ladder. Very glad we went with them instead of the carpeted steps. They are hardly noticeable, do not slip at all and are very easy to attach. Best of all, Charlie is much more confident and comfortable walking up and down stairs!

It's great. They solved our problem on our wooden stairs to prevent slipping. Although they are actually not invisible. They are clear but you can still see them. So if you don't mind, get them because they work and are easy to squash. I bought two sets for a regular 1st to 2nd floor staircase so I have a few extras to spare just in case.

Used on unfinished but slippery plain wooden stairs in a shop. I really like that they are transparent as natural wood shows through and it doesn't look like mismatched pads. Very easy to apply and since they are transparent I wasn't too concerned about them being crooked anyway. Excellent fall prevention - I feel safer even with socks on.

It rains a lot in winter and the stairs outside become very slippery. I was looking for a product that was non-slip but didn't feel sticky. We needed it to be good even in rainy weather. These non-slip band protectors are perfect! They were easy to install and work great. Best of all, they are transparent so are barely visible and definitely look beautiful.

This is an excellent product, easy to install and very effective without adding anything bulky to my stair surface. Two tips: 1) For the best view, use a ruler to center them more or less evenly from step to step. 2) Lay the strips forward from the center of each step towards the front edge. (Most slips and falls I think start with the foot slipping off the front edge.) All in all a very good buy!

We bought these for the wooden stairs in our house after visiting the stairs a few times. They were very easy to use, apply and affordable. It offers an almost rubbery surface so when wearing socks it sticks just enough not to be slippery which is great! I've been wearing them for a month now and no problems! The only downside is that they end up being more opaque instead of shearing. (We have dark wood stairs.) Overall a great purchase.

yes the strips were pretty easy to apply and they give you a little spatula to make sure you can apply even pressure and remove air bubbles. I bought these for my bedside steps as I have high mattresses and use the steps to climb into bed and want to make sure I don't slip off the steps and break something! 😬😊 They're transparent enough to see if they're starting to rise, which is nice so you can see when they're worn out and need replacing!
