Nice radio for portable speakers and docking stations

I wish it was louder. Not worth $80 more like $60 but because of the blue tooth I think it costs more. I download an old app to my phone and listen to it on this radio every Sunday while I cook dinner for the week and sip wine. It does a great job. If you're super picky about vintage, you're better off putting your money on ebay for something genuinely vintage. I wanted a real vintage Victrola turntable with horn, but of course there are hundreds. This is a compromise.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • So-so

VERY, VERY BAD PURCHASE.

I have purchased hundreds if not thousands of items from Revain and think this is my first review. I am so disappointed in this radio I received today. It wasn't cheap, but it worked like a cheap radio. I had to keep moving the radio until I was only getting the halfway decent sound quality. The tuner numbers are so out of sync with the actual station you're trying to catch, it's ridiculous. It seems like there is no quality control. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE.

Sounds and looks great!

I used this bluetooth radio in a play I did for our community theater. It was supposed to play music from the 1930s, as well as an old Louis boxing match. Our theater seats 90 people and even in the last row it sounded great! It also looked absolutely authentic. Of course we had to cover the red and blue lights. Too bad the radio wheel doesn't light up in Bluetooth mode. It is now a prominent item in my home that I use and really enjoy. great product just love it!

Pros
  • Long range
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Good sound and good workmanship.

I have not found any faults in the fit and finish of this radio. It is beautiful and many details seem authentic. The radio measures 10.875 inches high, 8.25 inches wide and 6.125 inches deep. The volume is sufficient, the sound quality is good. The structure is somewhat compact, so that the stations are close together. There is no problem connecting AM stations with an internal ferrite core antenna. A four foot wire antenna comes out of the back of the FM radio and seems to attract many of…

Relive the exciting days of bygone times!

This is a great little cathedral style radio. I use it to connect to my phone via Blu Tooth and listen to old radio shows on it. Four stars because the indicator on the dial only lights up when the radio is on - it would be really cool if it lit up when I use it with my phone. They aren't needed if you have at least the most basic understanding of Blu Tooth. Plug it in and turn it on with the volume button - the power indicator (red) lights up. On the left you have another watch face labeled FM

  • Fits many

Sounds good and works good

As long as your expectations are reasonable, this is a great product. Although it looks like a cathedral radio, it's a smaller version of the original. It is 11 inches high, 8 inches wide and 6 inches deep. The body is made of pressed cardboard with a tinted veneer. Looks good from a few feet away, but not as valuable up close as the real thing. AM, FM and a Bluetooth receiver. Even with the built-in FM wire antenna, the FM receiver is decent. It picks up weak local stations clearly, which…
