This is a very nice device with 2-2.4A USB ports. Blue light helps connect directly to it at night. It looks great in my trailer.

Quality is ok, but it's an odd design that doesn't sit flush with the surface. It sticks out quite a bit from the mounting hole. It serves its purpose, but I might be able to replace it with something else due to its weird installation.

I ordered two of these to share my experience with both. The top plate detached from the circuit board and was initially loosely glued. Both were damaged after minor use - 2 days.

Security hazard. broken item. The cover and USB connector detached from the circuit board after about 2 uses. Nothing seems to hold these pieces together. I'm an engineer (NOT a professional engineer) so I recognize the details I'm looking at. This exposed live parts in my car. I had to remove the switch.

I didn't put this in my car but I did put it in a friend's car. That's very pleasant. It looks like the factory switches on a 2012 Nissan. It fits into the factory switch's empty slot. I didn't have to modify any part of the car other than gaining access to the switch location and connecting a wire to the car's factory 12v accessory port. It looked very good.

I bought this dual USB charger for my boat and found that it not only drains my S8 smartphone but my friends iPhones as well. Bluetooth speakers didn't charge either. The phones and speaker showed that it was charging, and the case wasn't installed according to the instructions (it's not difficult to figure out how to connect the plus and minus wires either). I bought this to fit the modular/custom Carling switch housings available from Revain. When I had to replace that connector with a switch, I found I really couldn't remove it. The 4-pin terminals are very stiff and I can't use them to pry the socket out of the case. So I removed the case with the socket. Don't know if others have this problem. It's a good USB connector (I'm not familiar with that part) but I couldn't detach it due to material or design so I'm deducting a star.
