Description of Closed Expanding Polyurethane Approved Gallon

2 lb Density Marine-Grade expanding foam: Closed cell foam, perfect for flotation, insulation, soundproofing, or filling voids. This pour foam is U.S. Cost Guard approved and is ideal for use in dock floats and boat parts. Easy mixing and handling: 2-part liquid resin component system with a 1:1 Mix Ratio to produce the expanding polyurethane foam. Starts foaming after 45 seconds of mixing, and 7 minutes to full expansion. Build multiple layers by pouring the mix in separate batches to form strong bonds between layers. 94% Rigid Closed-Cell Foam: Once the foam is cured, it helps prevent moisture absorption and won’t be affected by solvents, oil or gas. The cured foam can be cut to any desired shape or be coated with polyester, epoxy, or vinyl ester resins. High-Quality polyurethane foam: This waterproof foam sealant will have a buoyancy of approximately 300 pounds per gallon foot, and a density of 2.0 lbs/ft3. This product does not contain any CFC blowing agents. Package content: Our Fiberglass Warehouse 2-part Pour Foam includes 1 gallon of each component for a total of 2 gallons. It is a two liquid resin component system that produces foam when mixing part A and B together.

Patience is the key!

Take your time and use small amounts! When it says "pour in 30 seconds," don't expect to pour in 32 seconds! But it worked great and I recommend it. Check out the video! You will not regret it. Sent quickly.

Pros
  • 94% Closed Cell Rigid Foam: Once cured, the foam helps prevent moisture absorption and is impervious to solvents, oil or gas. The cured foam can be cut into any desired shape or coated with polyester, epoxy or vinyl ester resins.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Qualitative and fast.

This was the second pot foam I've bought, the first wasn't quite enough and expanded more slowly. This product was much faster and cured within 5 minutes. Worth the money and works great as a floor foam on my John boat.

Pros
  • 2lb Marine Grade Foam: Closed cell foam ideal for buoyancy, insulation, soundproofing or void fill. Approved by the US Cost Guard, this potting foam is ideal for use in floats and boat parts.
Cons
  • Crumpled

The product is easy to use, great purchase!

We had to repair our pier, some animals ate through the foam. It was easy to use, just grab the red cups, stir and pour. Just carve, wax your hands or put on gloves! Two bottles filled about half the dock.

Pros
  • Easy to mix and handle: two-component liquid resin system in a 1:1 ratio for the production of expanded polyurethane foam. Begins to foam after 45 seconds of mixing and 7 minutes to full expansion. Create multiple layers by pouring the mixture in batches to form strong bonds between layers.
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something happened
