Hat Circular Needles

My signature needles are my favorites for most knits, but for hats I prefer Clover circular needles. They hold the seams well. I really wish they had heels but you can't get everything at this price point. I have almost all sizes now (I knit a lot of hats).

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Best Bamboo Needles

I have been buying Clover bamboo needles for many years and never use anything else. I've tried another cheaper brand of double goggles but I don't think they are as good as Clover. These needles are light and smooth but can handle even the thickest yarns I use for sweaters. They also don't make the annoying "ringing noise" of aluminum needles.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Bamboo is rough and catches yarn easily. I think it's wood.

Bamboo is rough and easily sticks to yarn. It seems to me that the tree is unfinished. The tips are unnecessarily sharp and the wire-to-wire connection is not smooth. I would recommend spending a few bucks more for metal pins or more polished wooden pins. In this situation, you get what you pay for. While cheaper yarn can still make a nice finished project, cheap tools don't.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
