Better idea than using

I thought it would be good for keeping live stitches on sleeve caps as I knit a lot of sweaters top down but they are directional so the old yarn that loads can be knitted from both ends is better. In addition, they are too long and make it difficult to continue knitting the sweater body. Can work for a neck or butt, but stopping at one end makes the piece even more practical.

Pros
  • Country of origin: Japan
Cons
  • High price

Great accessory for knitters

I made a big mistake knitting a large blanket and had to correct it. That meant going back a few rows and needing something solid to hold the stitches in place. My knitwear fits comfortably on the Clover 3162 long stitch holder and I was able to solve this problem. Fine cord is perfect for finer yarns and still works very well with bulkier yarns. Yes, you can use rope or twine as the stuffing, but it's much easier and more durable.

Pros
  • Package Weight: 0.016 lbs
Cons
  • Can't remember

Excellent purchase!

I bought a high quality eco-leather cord from CoCoKnits to use as a loop holder for my latest sweater, but found the leather fibers caught in my seams. boo! I was very disappointed as the stitch holder was expensive ($25!) and apparently had not been tested by real knitters. While plastic and certainly not eco-friendly, this loop keeper from Clover is definitely the best bang for your buck. While I may be in pain because I'm not a fashion knitter, this product is fantastic! The cord does not…

Pros
  • Soft Flex Cord
Cons
  • Thin
