IMHO this is the easiest shape to hold cable loops or other twine loops. The curved shape of the staff was annoying; This U-shape doesn't get in the way and is easier to knit. Three different sizes make it easier to choose the caliber. Great deal, highly recommend.

I LOVE it! What a pleasure to work with double-edged needles! They get stuck in fabric or stitch markers and are generally just awkward to work around at times (especially when you first start running cords). I bought them even though I learned how to deal with dpns. Thanks to them, wiring has never been this EASY for me! Strong, lightweight, holds loops securely with no risk of losing them. I prefer it over straight wood braid holders because the U-shape prevents them from accidentally falling and the smooth plastic makes them easy to slide. My braids can be tight and this helps them move smoothly.

I love how easy it is to use and how smoothly they fit into the loops I need to move. The low price has made it easy for me to buy multiple packs and put 1 on a small table in the living room, 1 in a knitting tools box and 1 in my knitting bag so I don't have to hunt for a knitting needle while I'm working on a cable knit project.

I like this type of braiding for certain braid patterns but wish they were smaller in the pack. I used it for finger gloves and the smallest size was too big. Most of these are for thicker yarn/needles, keep that in mind. I also wish they would make them a little shorter as all cable needles tend to have them on the long side, which is fine if you're doing big braids, but for less than 5 stitches you don't really need them. long length.
