🧵 Clover 9506 5 in 1 Sliding Gauge: The Ultimate Sewing Tool by Nancy Zieman Review

I just used this to trim my jeans while keeping the original edge. I absolutely love this gauge, it snaps into place, I've always used an old metal caliper and had to constantly adjust the caliper to the correct size. This 5:1 is fantastic. Watch the demo on YouTube online, they encouraged me to try it and I'm very happy that it lives in my sewing room now :0)

What a disappointment! I'm generally a fan of Nancy and her ideas, but it's not very helpful. First, it's flimsy plastic. I have to keep it out of the fray while stitching just to make sure it doesn't tear. Also, the slide sensor doesn't stay in place, despite a small plastic bracket meant to hold it.
