🍀 CLOVER Amour Crochet Hook Set, Ergonomic Grip, Size 1, Premium Quality Review

I bought these after figuring out what I prefer on my hooks and I have to say I wasn't impressed with them at all. I've used the cheap knockoffs that come in a $14 set of 14 hooks and I liked the cheap knockoffs better. Why do I prefer the cheap set? Because their rubber grips were larger and fit my hands better. These pens are much smaller and I didn't like them. I don't think these hooks were worth the price I paid or all the hype they're getting.

The first thing that struck me is that the Clover hooks are very lightweight. This takes some getting used to as my previous hooks were much heavier. The second thing I noticed was that the Clover hooks were slipping through the twine, increasing my speed. The third thing I noticed is that my work has become more consistent and smoother. Fourth, the price was lower. So, while I'm still trying to get used to the light weight of the hooks, they're overall fun to knit with.

Set #3674 arrived today. First I noticed that the first 4 sizes weren't a US size but the size was on the last 5. The pins are like a set of Knit Picks I got years ago but now they're so sticky, sticky that I can't use them. When I ordered them the UK supplier was listed in the product information. They are from Japan and Japan is stamped on the bottom of each hook as is 'Clover' on the 2017 cloverleaf packaging. I hope this is a genuine product and I really hope they don't get tacky. Do others
