Description of CMT 811 564 11 Carbide Straight Diameter

3/4-Inch Cutting Length, 2-1/4-Inch Length, 2 Cutting Edges. Smooth and precise cut Exceptional chip ejection to allow cleaner and more constant cutting. To be used on wood and wood composites. Makes right-angle joints, box joints, mortise and tenons, rabbets, union, tongue and groove joints. CMT bits were rated the best overall in comparison to other brand (Test by Wood Magazine).

Terrible Router Bit, Avoid at All Costs

As a result of using this product I found that it was extremely dull and unable to cut through even basic materials. It caused me nothing but frustration and wasted time. The only positive aspect of this bit is that it is relatively inexpensive. However, even that doesn`t justify the poor quality and lack of performance. I highly recommend looking for a different option..

Cuts well but erasure is very poor

The erasure quality of this bat is very disappointing. I posted a photo so you can see what I'm talking about. Bubbles, roughness and cavities when braising are what I would expect from a cheap Chinese racquet, not CMT's. I have written to CMT USA regarding this but have not yet received a reply. not what I expect from a Tier 1 company either. I have to add this bit cuts HDPE fine, but better.
