Very good cutting tool

For $$$ I'm getting the premium level of quality I expect. I chose it over cheaper models because I was making tall windows for the lobby and wanted plug-in connections. Using a 1-1/8" shank instead of the recommended 1-1/4" shank saved a lot, but works well. If I need a deeper insert, I can easily add it with an extra milling operation.

Good quality in power tools and hand tools

Works perfectly, only slight adjustment difficulty needed to adjust clearances with spacers between bearing and tool (not included ) for the perfect gout. I now have register blocks when I change them from the spreadsheet, so setup is a breeze. But the quality is ok, I've done thirty windows with it and it went well, and I think another sixty before they are will need sharpening.

Not worth the money for milling cutters

TLDR: Choose a cheaper set if you don't like tinkering (and have unlimited waste). I bought a CMT set and another set of sashes (yellow on Revain) to see if there was a difference. Other than the price, there isn't much of a difference. NO KIT CUT BOTH WITHOUT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT EVERY TIME. The $40 set is what we actually use because the tolerances are so tight that both cuts actually match and it ends up being easier to tune. This CMT set ($135) offers a better fit in theory, but you will…
