The product is made of extremely thin and flimsy glass material. I’ve been extremely careful in how I used the product but a small piece of the spout area chipped off. The material is so thin, likely 1 inch drop could crack the whole thing. I only used it for hot tea and it works well up to now but I’m always afraid the hot water will crack the thin glass layer. I definitely would not recommend this product for normal use but I can see this as a decorative purpose.

This is my third glass pitcher (I know, I am clumsy.) but it is by far my favorite. Things I like:1) the glass is thicker than in the previous two - which were from different sellers. It almost feels like a lighter pyrex dish, which is reassuring since I bump it in the sink and that's how I broke the others. Seriously what did I expect? The product itself is very nice and looks great. But I am always worried about the glass exploding if it gets too hot. And not only that, once after boiling hot water the lid of the tea pot broke. This was extremely displeasing since I only bought it recently.In other words if you buy it don't be surprised if it breaks soon after. I still have it and it's still going bit I prefer the traditional tea kettle.

Really loved this item and have used it everyday since i bought it. I planned to give it to a few friends as gifts. BUT today it cracked when I used it on the stove as directed. two days after warrenty ended. I am so disppointed.

The glass is so thin on these it's thinner than wine glasses. Im.actually scared to pour hot water in it, and everytike I do I cringe fully expecting it to crack.

It is beautiful, according to my wife, and looks good while being used. It is a good size for sharing with friends. The strainer works well. We are thinking about buying more to brew different teas at the same time for parties, since they are not expensive.

The silicone sealing ring is defective. Thin glass that I am not sure if can withstand heat of the stove. May require a separate heating source for brewing.

Handle of pot is awkwardly positioned causing occasional spillage when using a pot holder. Constant removal of spring/ strainer device to clean but does prevent leaves from coming thru.Attractive pot but not the most convenient.

Be careful the handle and wood top burns over time. I used mine maybe 6 times total. Not only does the handle get VERY HOT but it also starts to burn
