Nice. Cheap. Serves the purpose as a coaster well. I really like the color scheme of the trio - white, light gray and dark gray. It goes well with my color scheme. In my photo, the dark gray looks smaller, but in fact they are all the same size. I'm not sure I would call it a "gift". but to each his own I guess.

I love these coasters. I bought these because I have a new desk for working from home. My 32 ounce water bottle fits on a stand with plenty of room. I also have a small table lamp on one of the stands to protect the table top. In the week I've had them, they've protected my desk from scratches and water rings. It's thick material and will likely last a long time. I like that there were six packs of 3 colors. I have a feeling they were a great deal!

I was going to give it four stars but absorbency is probably the most important factor and it's only an average so I left it at a three star average. Not bad, but not great either. Water collects in small droplets on the surface and will be absorbed after some time. Wet glass will still drip water on you when you lift it.
