I bought this 32 thread kit because it was a great mix of colors for the price and the box was pretty. I read other reviews that said the box was broken and the thread wasn't Coats. This yarn surprised me. First, the box is good because there are velcro straps on the front flap for easy opening. The spools are bigger than I thought. The spools have a "snap latch" to secure the ends of the line. You fold the top "hem" up to remove the thread, then tuck the end of the thread under the flap and let it close. So comfortable! I've had my eye on this set for a long time. Has been on my wish list for ages. The box is clever. The front panel opens and closes with Velcro. You can store the thread in the box. Since purchasing this collection I have continued to use up my old coils and am happy to use some of my new stock. I found it very handy to have on hand. Don't forget to order spools for new thread.
