Cobalt Aquatics 26505 Internal Filter Review

I plugged the filter into a working outlet after placing it in my fish tank and the filter would not even turn on. A clip for attaching the filter to the aquarium was also missing. Extremely disappointed as I paid a hefty sum for this hard to find item and my fish needed it badly. I gave one star because I had to choose at least one star.

I am using this filter (Clear Vue 20) in a 7.5 gallon freshwater aquarium with fish and live plants. I cut a small piece of the bio-sponge that comes with the filter to use the chemically clean green nano pack. I've been using it for a few months and so far I'm really enjoying it. It's quiet and somewhat powerful and seems to get the job done well. It's very easy to clean. It's compact too! That's a great little filter!

This filter is perfect for my needs. I needed a filter for my half-filled cubic tank that could be easily moved but required minimal immersion. That's all.
