Stellar Industrial Drill Bit

I was in search of a reliable industrial drill bit for my work and stumbled upon this one. As my tests showed, the Cobalt Jobber Length Hardened Stainless bit is a game-changer for any project that requires precision drilling. Its durability and strength are truly remarkable. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to some other options on the market. Nonetheless, I believe investing in this bit is worth it for those looking for dependable cutting tools in the Industrial and…

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to the hardened stainless steel material
Cons
  • More expensive than non-hardened alternatives

Slightly oversized but cuts well

Hole in 1/2 inch stainless steel pin for cotter pin. It cuts well if you keep the speed low and forms nice long waste spirals without overheating. Should be 0.109 inches, the micrometer shows that they are increased by 0.116 or 0.007 inches. Probably metric. When I put them in the drill case, I noticed that they fit snugly, so I checked them out.

Pros
  • PROFESSIONAL AND WIDE APPLICATION: M35 Cobalt HSS is better suited for hardened materials. Particularly effective in cutting hard metals such as stainless steel, cast iron, high temperature alloys, titanium alloys, hard plastics and wood, and can also be used for softer materials.
Cons
  • Small parts

Too short for good results, less than 1.5 inches long

These 1/16" cobalt crowns are too short to be useful. I got really sick with the flu this month and missed the return deadline to get them back. They are NOT a standard length and are not long enough to wear to fit in a 29 bit drill set. When I chuck my drill bit, they don't have much length left to reach. They're just under 1.5" long and I kinda missed that because length doesn't describe it. I'm sorry, spend money on them.

Pros
  • Pay attention to speed, pressure, and temperature control when drilling.
Cons
  • Long Shipping
