What a bummer

I thought it was plug and play but no! You have to assemble it, and then after you've attached the antenna, you have to "set it up" by someone who knows how to take it apart and manipulate it. NOT A GOOD PURCHASE!

Disappointed with CB and two-way radios

Installed this radio in the spring and now it's not working. There is no physical damage and damage from the elements, all fuses are also intact. Not sure what the problem is but I've been expecting a Cobra CB for over 18 months.

Don't throw away the box if it doesn't work

Bought for my husband. He's a truck driver. He couldn't get it from home until he stayed with me for two weeks and when he was finally able to find someone at his company who would try to plug it in for him he just blew his fuses. He has already thrown the box away. Our mistake. And it's too late to go back. $95 down the drain.

Defective immediately

The garage of the trucking company I work for installs all of our CBs on our vehicles. This particular one was broken out of the box. There was no noise. I went to a pilot near work and got another version of this product and plugged it into the same wires I had in the garage and it worked great so it's not the wiring that's the problem. Very disappointed.

Sounds real in my truck Sounds good

Radio for a month. Started not overtaking the other drivers said it sounds like crap. The screw fell out of the microphone connector and the wire came loose at the solder joint in the microphone cable where it screws into the radio. Now Cobra Electronics wants me to send the radio back to them for repair. Guys, it's just a mic. I bought a new microphone. I could fix that, but I think they should take care of the problem. Cobra Electronics update sent me a new mic Thanks to Eric from support.

Reliable radio

Having decided to really stay with OTR Trucking, I'm starting to invest in equipment. This CB was my first major purchase for a trailer. And I love this radio. All classic cars swear by the Cobra Classic and I have to admit I'm a bit old-fashioned too. I previously borrowed a Cobra from a friend but was unable to transfer it. It could be anything so I decided to buy my own. I love it! Everyone says they can hear me crystal clear. I checked the radio yesterday and a guy said it works like $2 you
