Quick and easy!: Accessories and spare parts

Works great! Used on my front rim on my John Deere 970 tractor and finished and aired in no time! (The temp was 20 degrees Fahrenheit at this point and it was still perfectly sealed) Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unreliable

Easy to install and works great

Easy to install and seems very solid! Replaced an existing leaking valve in a lawnmower tire and was impressed with how easy it was to install and having run the lawnmower for the past few weeks there have been no problems.

Incredibly easy to install

This is one of the best things I've come across. Removing tires from most heavy equipment is time consuming to say the least. That saved me a lot of time. Installation took less than 5 minutes and the valve is actually better quality than the one he replaced.

Pros
  • convenient item
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works great - tires and wheels

Thing worked great! I have a 1952 Ford 8N and all the rims are rusty so it was impossible to change the tyres. I had a puncture due to a broken valve stem. I removed the rest of the rod, put in an emergency valve and bled it. It worked great even though the valve stem bore was a bit rusty. I buy more of these and some for trucks and cars. You will not regret it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Won't fit my metric valve stem bore

Won't fit my Yanmar wheel loader. The Colby XL tire valve is precisely designed for a 5/8" bore. I have a size 15 valve hole. Other Colby tire nipples seem to be designed for small rims like ATVs and trailers. I'm thinking of sharpening the brass part a bit to adjust to fit it in the hole as it has no part to ensure a tight seal. This would be appropriate if the tire valve size described for the excavator wheel matches the wheel valve hole size UP TO 5/8". This is a great product, if it fits. All

A very well made product.

I ordered smaller valves not knowing my tire has a larger puncture. The smaller valve could slide right in, bypassing the beautiful brass device. I modified and sealed it, but it took a lot of work and rough handling. Don't worry, their rubber and brass held up to anything I threw at them. I was able to seal the wrong size valve but I'm not sure it will hold up so I ordered this to replace. These valves are REALLY easy to install and USE. Also, I'm an engineer, so I enjoy watching them. They…

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • Cleanliness
