Colonial Needle CNFK 1 Felting Starter Review

My biggest issue with this product was that the colors I received did NOT match those on the product page. I know the description said there might be some differences in order, but I assumed that meant different sets of product ideas rather than a completely random color choice. I had a lot of colorful roving in my kit and since I don't plan on making flowers I won't really need it (I expected white, gray and black in the photo). I'm a bit disappointed. What I received didn't look like the picture. I figured it would be a decent starter kit with a regular color roving (not to mention a decent amount). But what I got was pretty pathetic. I could hold all six bundles of roving in one hand (no, really, I have baby hands) and still have room. We were happy to find needle felting starter kits at Revain as the local Walmart doesn't seem to be that supportive of the textile art of needle felting. These are well thought out introductions to the craft/hobby that can fire the imagination, encourage critical thinking (decision making) and observation.
