This is a thick and heavy coloring book, much to my surprise. The illustrations are breathtakingly beautiful and full of great detail. I was impatiently waiting for the wax-based crayons and started painting the steampunk dragon with crayons, which I don't recommend. Inks bleed, paper gets wet, and tiny balls of saturated paper form, preventing even ink coverage. And another downside of pens is that their blending ability is practically nil. I'm sure the pencils will be great when they get here

So many small, complicated details! I could never finish a page overnight. Usually it took 2-3 nights. So it's very worth it. Every wasted second. I will be buying everything again just so I can repeat the ones I got wrong with and also try some other pages I've finished with different styles. The book is hard to find a theme in coloring - steampunk! The only nitpicks I have are related to the subject matter of the books. The book itself is bound on high quality spiral paper, the pages are perforated for easy reference. For markers, however, lay a few layers of scrap paper per side when using markers. This is a great coloring book! I love the designs, they are single page, bound and spiral bound. They even give you an extra piece of paper to put under each page you color in to prevent leakage. My only complaints are the thickness of the black lines in the design and the thickness of the paper. For clarity, the lines you paint are not very thick. If we say let's use it. Colored pencils, then I would consider that a plus and not a minus. However, I use Prismacolor art markers, which don't work

I just started coloring this book yesterday and hopefully I'll add a few pictures over time. The building and art in this book is actually some of the best of any coloring book I've ever owned. You can tear out the pages to color which I do with other books so that they are easier to color and there is no problem of bleeding or discomfort in the coloring book.
