The toe of the boots is tilted upwards, like elf shoes. This caused the seam that attaches the fabric to the hard rubber sole to bulge and dig into the top of my son's foot, even on a larger boot. He is 9 years old and found these to be one of the most uncomfortable boots he has ever worn. My husband and I were very disappointed with how odd these boots looked because the toe was so high. Very disappointing!

I always wear Columbia boots for my daughter a size up so I made them for her and when they arrived they were gigantic ! Well if you have wide feet the toe box is very roomy. But even with socks it was too big. Additionally, we were disappointed that there was no soft material in the trunk. It just seemed solid, almost like a rainbow inside.
