Good shin guards

Good guards. You have to put them on upside down and then turn them around. Otherwise they are very difficult to put on. EDIT: You've only had them for a few weeks and the stitching is already starting to rip where the toe meets the padding. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Excellent general qualities
Cons
  • Little things

Definitely good knee pads!

You are amazing. I use them a few times a week and they are great for MMA training, not just standing as most are just for them. I do hard, gentle workouts every time and they work amazingly. buy you! I have 6ft 195in and bought the big ones. They fit perfectly

  • Price
Cons
  • Negative impression

Tight until they break but good calf pads

A little tight at first but you want them to be snug so they don't slip or twist on you. I have large calves from previous years of lifting weights so they are very tight around me. But they loosened up more when I used them. like a baseball glove or a good pair of boots, best tucked in.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Impossible to take off

Protection goes way down which is good. However, the padding lacks solid support, so a well-placed hit will be painful. They are good for light sparring. I wish they had velcro on the back. I don't have large calves and these things are impossible to take off and difficult to put on.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Brilliant! Simple trick to turn on and off

Fantastic shin pads, great protection, don't slip or rub your feet, they all have trouble getting them on and off, there is a simple trick, just slip a plastic bag over your leg and they wear a rite , than when you're ready to take off, just put the plastic bag back on your foot and they'll slide off even if you're sweaty! This old wetsuit trick is perfect for shin guards.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Dear

Athletic performance

Worn for mixed martial arts training and have to say the pads feel good and stay in place. They are inexpensive and good enough for training. The pressure on the neoprene is erased; It's cosmetic only, so I don't care. The protection is excellent. If you want to feel the kicks on your shins, get another set as they really protect your shins from the impact. The instep protection is good and much lighter than the shin protection area. I don't like the velcro on top, it keeps coming off and thenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
