I love it! suitable for colanders and food strainers

This is a reliable device, made in Korea, not China. It works great when I want to add herbs, spices and flavors to the brine. I use it for broths and soups. You need a relatively deep pan as it is quite high. It's a bit expensive. But it's well made - and not as expensive as some of the alternatives here.

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Upgradeable

The best invention since sliced bread!

Great sieve, works like a charm. We have a commercial kitchen where we cook chopped carrots for pickling every day. The large capacity of this filter and the ease of use make this task much easier. Its very robust construction and very well thought-out locking mechanism make it the ideal tool for constant, repeated use in the commercial environment. Also great for home use!

Pros
  • Colanders and sieves
Cons
  • Some nuances

Strainers and food strainers worth every penny

Ideal for large cans at home. I'm sure it's great for broth too. It's very easy to use, the clip stays in place and it's dishwasher safe. It does NOT come with a chain but I use pliers or a fork to pull it out so it's not a problem for me. I have ONE small complaint. The sticker on the bottom is very sticky! I had to use goo goo to take it off!

  • Kitchen & Dining
Cons
  • So far so good
