Our best cam for gas mileage. Strong low end torque. Good stock replacement with very smooth idle. 800-4,000 RPM Operating Range. 192/200 Duration at .050". 108 Degree Lobe Separation Angle. 0.416"/0.416" Valve Lift. K Kits vary in their contents, but generally contain a camshaft, a set of lifters, valve springs, retainers, locks, valve seals, timing set, assembly lubricant, decals and instructions. Check description for more accurate listing of kit contents. High Energy grinds are a good blend of efficiency and performance: ideal for performance street rebuilds. Works well with mainly stock components such as rockers, manifolds, heads, compression, torque converters and gears. Fits '64-'98 AMC 199-258/4.0L. Made in USA.

Waste of money, avoid this!

I wanted to upgrade my automotive engine with this camshaft, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations... The installation process was a pain and I COULDN'T feel any significant increase in power or performance. On top of that, it was quite expensive..

Great Mild Performance Cam Kit

Noticeable increase in torque and acceleration at low rpm on my 1977 AMC 258. I have all the standard bores and necks except the cylinders are honed and the head is .030 milled. The idle is smooth, but you can hear the difference in the sound of the exhaust that the camshaft makes when accelerating. Be sure to use a good assembly lube and oil run-in additive and follow the included instructions to open the cam. Change the oil and filter after the first 25 minutes break-in, then after 100 miles…
