Being a teckie for many years, this is one of the best tools you could add to your keychain. It produces plenty of light and will last quite on a single battery. I've had mine for several months and have used it almost on a daily basis. Outstanding product!

When you really need a light… it’s better to have a small one in your pocket than a big one on your dresser! Can’t believe how bright it is! It will light up a room with the diffuser on. Very satisfied!

For a single-AAA flashlight, this is pretty bright. Seems to be the same brightness whether using a 1.5v alkaline or using a 1.2v NiMH rechargeable battery. I've only used a few quick times, but I did notice it generated a bit of heat when I used it for over a minute. The difuser cap that comes with it works great and glows in the dark after the flashlight is turned off.

Anyone that works in the healthcare field knows that 12 hour shifts are no joke.
