🚗 Chevy Silverado GMC Sierra 2009-2019 Car Short Antenna: 6 3/4" Replacement Accessories Review

I have to answer my own question which no one has answered and which Revain never posted. should, since almost all other short antennas are suitable for more years than this one shows.

Antenna works great! Stations are snapped as usual. The only issue I have is that you have to use the included 2014-2019 Chevy Truck brass adapter which makes the antenna stick out higher than it should. The brass adapter is clearly visible under the antenna. I painted my adapter black and it's much better now. Costs money.

I can't tell you how good this antenna is for receiving FM or AM radio stations. I'm using it to receive an FM signal from Bluetooth to the FM transmitter in the truck, so the signal is very close. I can tell you it looks way better on my Chevy Silverado than the long thin stock antenna and is great in my situation.

Can't complain about it. Went problem-free with the supplied thread adapter. I live in a big city so I have no problem getting our local radio stations. However, I have not tested it in hilly or rural areas. This solved my problem with the factory antenna hitting the garage door and now I can walk through car washes without removing the factory antenna and banging it on the windshield!

I purchased this antenna to replace the stock antenna on my 2018 GMC Denali HD. The reason I replaced the OEM is because it scratched the trees in my area and the ceiling in my garage. My truck is raised 2 inches so it sits high. In my opinion, this antenna looks better than the series. Works great - I can receive AM/FM and HD channels with no signal loss. Highly recommend this to replace your old OEM look.

I was looking for a 6" to 7" semi-flexible antenna to replace the insanely long antenna on my 2019 Silverado Custom. My biggest concern was signal loss. I don't know why but for some reason it seemed to me that the factory antenna didn't fit this truck. I just always noticed the factory antenna. Maybe because my Chrysler has a rear window antenna and my Cadillac has a retractable antenna. so that you cannot see the antenna on any car in the parking lot. Edit: Too bad we had to downgrade a few stars here. Maybe I spoke too soon. As soon as I started traveling a bit outside of my area, I experienced a pretty severe drop in reception.
