After trying this product, the Competition Cams 68 camshaft has definitely made a positive impact on my vehicle's performance. It has optimized my engine's horsepower and torque, giving me a smoother ride and increased acceleration. This product is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast looking to boost their vehicle's power. The only downside was that the installation process was slightly difficult and required some technical expertise. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this product to anyone

Pros
  • Increased horsepower and torque for improved engine performance.
Cons
  • Requires professional installation which can be costly.

love the extra power

i have a 2000 wrangler tj that i rebuilt. It says it won't work, but the 4.2 timing cover, camshaft bolt and spring pin with correct timing will fit as it came from the factory. Also use heavy duty Mopar valve springs to prevent valve movement. Sounds like a dragster idling lol. Works harder and adds tons of torque.

Pros
  • cam & lifter kits
Cons
  • weak

Ideal for original engine upgrades.

Excellent camshaft for a standard high mileage engine. Generates more power at rated speed. Doesn't pull at dead idle like a stock cam, but pulls above 1800 rpm. I use the original Carter BBD with the stepper motor disabled. I have to say mine doesn't work very well with the stock valve train and it seems that the standard length tappets are too short. A longer push rod at 0.050 might help.
