East installed, works great!

Installs in about a minute. The HDMI port on our TV no longer works. Connected to a component on the TV and to the HDMI cable coming out of the cable box. Saved us buying a new TV.

Ideal for older TVs

Great product for older TVs without HDMI ports. The TV worked great but couldn't connect any of our new tech equipment lol. Plugged my Fire Stick, PS4 and old Sony back into the store lol. Good product.

Works as described - Video Converters

Works as described! Easy to set up. Worked well with cable box resolution and no HDMI cable installation. I switched the output of the HDMI cable box to component. The TV signal was perfect. During the month of operation, there were no problems or the need to restart any of the three devices.

Not All Adapters Are Created Equal

This was the third purchase I've tried. This one is a guard. Best picture quality and processing quality. The previous adapter failed after a few months. It got very hot and stopped working. The second had terrible picture quality. This product does not overheat and the picture quality is 1080i. Works as advertised and I hope it continues.

Works best with accessories and supplies

I got this to connect my Blu-ray player when the HDMI port on my TV failed. Works perfectly, power cord included. There is a button on the device that allows you to select the output resolution and the only way to tell which resolution is selected is to look at the connected TV when you press the button. This is likely a one-off process, so it probably doesn't matter to most people.

What I need for audio and video accessories

I had an old projector and stereo connected to a DVD player with component and stereo cables. I was trying to find a way to turn the DVD player into a streaming device. I initially found a local store that had the correct cables but they plugged in but didn't work. What I needed was a converter box that did exactly what I needed. Doesn't work with Roku

This product doesn't work for me. I connected it to the YPbPr inputs on my Sony Trinitron Vega XBR CRT TV. I used a Roku Stick 4K and went through the descaling but it didn't work fully and the screen split. It was like the old descrambler hotboxes that used to try to steal cable TV. I read that this product does not work with HDCP signals above 1.4 and the 4K flash drive supports HDCP 2.2 or 2.3. So I bought a Roku Express that supports HDCP 1.4.
