Safe for the planet!

Not strong like old fashioned plastic garbage bags but environmentally friendly and that is why I'm buying them. Do not over load

Pros
  • ‎8.27 x 5.31 x 7.68 inches
Cons
  • May not be able to hold liquids as well

Perfect for your household non-compostable waste

I really like this bag for its ability to compost. Being careful with our waste is a huge concern to us as we can do better for this planet, however what do you do with tissues, sink particles, and plate residue? While we're still looking to cut back on our landfill waste and will consider a smaller compostable bag in the near future, we recommend this bag.

Pros
  • Compost Bags
Cons
  • Could potentially leak or break more easily

The feel-good trash bag

I was looking something to hold leaves from oak trees. My neighborhood is all 50' oak trees - I have 4 in my yard. When they dropped leaves this time around - I ran out of mulching composting space. I had used the tall paper bags but they tended to tear easily and didn't hold as much. These bags are tough, hold as much as a plastic contractor bag. I asked they city if these were good for yard waste collection - which is a different landfill than for household waste - and they said yes. I feel…

Pros
  • CONVENIENCE, DURABILITY, EASY HANDLING, AND PRICE!
Cons
  • Limited color options

Very, very fragile trash bags

I wanted to try some recyclable bags, so I ordered two cases of these. They are EXTREMELY fragile. From my experience, about 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 tear along the seam as you remove them from the roll. So those bags immediately go into the garbage themselves. If you put anything other than dry paper into these bags, they are likely to tear or split along a seam and disgorge their contents onto your floor. Forget putting aluminum beverage cans or plastic water bottles into these bags, as they will rip

Pros
  • ‎8.45 pounds
Cons
  • May require more frequent disposal due to smaller size

Good bags but thin for my opinion

Good bags but thin.they break sometimes when lifting out of the trashcan. Maybe 10 or 20% of the time. Solved that issue by tying the bag shut while in the trashcan and then just dumping the can into the dumpster.

Pros
  • Tear-Resistant (.75 mil): Small, but tough 2-4 gal compost trash bags made for a leak-proof disposal
Cons
  • May not be available in all sizes

Used as garbage bags

Tired of adding to plastic waste. We use these as garbage bags. It works fine for our purpose. They degrade quickly. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Convenient drawstring design helps close bags securely
Cons
  • Packaging may not be as attractive as traditional bags

Almost great in my review

These are good… for compostable bags. But these don’t have the tightening strings that make the bag easy to tie off. And if there is anyone in the house not aware that these are different bags, people tend to overfill trash bags and that’s when these tear or break. So as long as you don’t overfill and you leave room at the top to be able to tie the bag off, you’re fine

Pros
  • Only the best quality materials are used
Cons
  • May not be as effective for outdoor sporting events or festivals

Rips every time for my opinion

These bags tear open so easily. We gave up trying to use them in the kitchen trash, but seem to be ok for light implications like the bathroom/bedroom cans.

Pros
  • Reduces your carbon footprint
Cons
  • May require more frequent trips to the composting facility

rip too easily: my feedback

I honestly don't feel the need to do many reviews. I am fairly happy with anything I do get on amazon.I wanted to give this brand a try based off the price and I used up the bags that came with my curb side composting service but they just don't hold up when trying to stretch them around the edge of my compost bin. They just snap and literally all the way down the bag. I can't wait to be through them so I can move on to another manfacturer.

Pros
  • ‎Reli.
Cons
  • May require additional education on proper disposal techniques

Good product tho different

We’re used to compacting trash down before adding a new bag- this is not a great bag for that, as there were punctures from some plastic or box edges. However, if not pressing down, this is a great bag doing the world a favor.I do wish the bags were a bit longer or had handles to easily tie off, this would allow more trash per bag, as I either don’t tie off or don’t let trash go to the top.

Pros
  • Love that it is a great size. Very sturdy and great material!!
Cons
  • I love eco friendly products but these bags rip super easily compared to other of the same type.

larger option and better tie closer

I purchased this product in hopes that I could use a more eco friendly alternative to wasteful plastic garbage bags. I think this product is so close to being amazing, it just has a few functionality issues that I hope are fixed going forward! For reference I have a simple human kitchen garbage can. the bags themselves are very sturdy which I really appreciate however they are clearly designed for smaller end garbage cans since it barely reached over the top of my garbage can which lead to mid…

Pros
  • I love using these compostable bags. What I don't understand is why they come wrapped in plastic!?!?!
Cons
  • Slightly different texture than traditional bags

Reasonable strong, no weird scent

Second time purchasing these. I use them to line the recycling bin. They work fine for light items like recycling can, jars, papers etc.

Pros
  • Small Compostable Trash Bags | 2-4 Gallon | Green, Eco Friendly | 360 Count
Cons
  • May not be as durable as traditional bags

Great product, check the options

At first I passed this product by because I thought the cost per bag was more than I could afford. However, when I looked through the various options I found that the bags I wanted (13 gallon tall kitchen bags) were really reasonable when I bought the 75 bag option. They are sturdy and minimally packaged. And I feel better even doing this admittedly tiny part to prevent more plastic in the landfill.

Pros
  • Compostable design helps reduce landfill waste
Cons
  • Could potentially cause more mess during disposal

Bags split on side best in my review

I was emptying the bucket that I had lined with the Reli Compostable and it split down the side and my garage went all over the counter and floor. It must be a bad batch of bags, as splitting is common, in thisbatch. I bought many to use, as my city is asking us to recycle and put the garbage into the green wastecontainer along with the tree and grass clippings. I had to use a stronger bag that we pay for ( .10) at the store and after using 3 bags of the Reli, (kept splitting) the stronger bag…

Pros
  • It's very important to me to use more clean products for environment. I like those bags a lot.
Cons
  • Composting facility may not be available locally

"Compostable " only in municipal facilities, not backyard

I think it's a bit misleading to advertise that the bag is compostable, but then on the box, it says that it is not for backyard composting. That's unfortunate, since I don't have a municipal compost facility nearby. The first few bags in the roll also had some defects (small slits) that I noticed when I mounted the bag in my bin. I can't say that I didn't cause them, but then, that would make me think that bags aren't sturdy since I haven't done anything more than pull them off the roll and…

Pros
  • Helps reduce plastic pollution
Cons
  • May require additional education for proper usage and disposal
