These are the real, not flimsy, thin ones, only last a few months. They are thick and durable and offer excellent support. Ace is now owned by 3M and their production has been outsourced to Asia. They still appear to be of good quality and should last a long time.

opinion? This "soft" support is a "moderate support". And I mean well. I was a little worried that "soft" support would mean too stretchy and useless, but no! I absolutely love it and as always SO happy I bought the ACE brand for the consistent quality of the product!

After a long exercise (more than 1 hour) my knees start to work badly. I haven't seen her at the doctor, but this support has helped. It is a lightweight support that helps relieve knee pain. Love these compression knee pads. None of the stores in my area carry the small size so this was perfect. I used it for a little knee compression while running. It was just the right amount. This gave me a little more mobility but held my knee in place while it fully healed. I use it for hiking and for comfortable sleeping. The packaging says "soft" support.

Very good quality. All that's missing is the metal strips on both sides or the knee pads that the Ace used to have. Maybe they were unnecessary. This product was exactly what I expected. I measured the circumference of my leg just above the knee and ordered the size listed. It also helped that I had a smaller brace before and remembered how tight it was on my leg (uncomfortable). Please note that this product is a brace and not an orthosis. I use it when my knee is tired or hurts from overuse. I have no serious problems, only the results of fifty years of activity!

I couldn't find sizing info anywhere so thought I'd add it here: Measured around the kneecap: SM 12-14.5in MD 14.5-17LG 17-19 , 5XL 19.5-22 The size around my kneecap is 16.5 and the medium size should have fitted but was uncomfortably tight while the LG seems perfect.
