History: I used to have an ergonomic Microsoft keyboard with built-in stands. It was a great keyboard. I love typing on this keyboard. Because I typed so much, the letters eventually wore out and I had to buy a new keyboard. Much to my disappointment, Microsoft no longer offered what I had and I had to settle for its successor. A pair of plastic squares that can be glued to most things with a flat and smooth surface. When open, it provides approximately 0.8 inches of buoyancy. When folded it is a bump about 1/4 inch high. It is designed to support laptops/iPads etc. So don't expect it to support anything heavier. Uses a Blu-ray case and microfiber cloth to hold the Apple keyboard at an angle. This was my setup for about a year and then I got the idea to find something less hacky to hold my keyboard. Found this set at a great price. They were easy to install and use. I have had no problems with this product, however it does not support heavy computer keyboards. My computer keyboard is 60% mechanical keyboards but it is very heavy because the bottom of the keyboard is metal steel which is a marble-like material that is very heavy so your item can't hold the keyboard. I don't like having a fan and don't need one, but these little stands have helped get my laptop to the perfect working height and prevent that I have him to buy an unnecessary fan for my laptop. Before using them, I made sure the bottom of my laptop was completely clean and dry. I then attached them to the bottom and turned my laptop over to stand on these stands.
