Does not work at all

This product has no value as it is completely useless. Doesn't do anything as they say and will never set, stays liquid after 2 months.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Electrically useless.

I bought it and most of it leaked in transit. I've tried what's left. Doesn't conduct electricity like I've been led to believe. In fact, the ohmmeter showed it was a pretty good insulator. Doesn't work and got my money back.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works great: solder and flux

I had a connector tab that came loose on my truck's rear window freezer. This copper lock fixed it perfectly! it should conduct 12 volts, and that's it! I first tried this to test it on a pair of brass fittings that I don't need. it worked and worked fast and was very powerful! good product!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • So far so good

Seems to work. for solder and flux

I used this to attach a 3/4" adapter to a 1/2" unthreaded pipe. I only covered the outside of the pipe. I probably should have covered the inside of the adapter as well, but it seems to be working after 24 hours. I saw a single drop of water hanging from the floor, but it could have been condensation. If it doesn't work I will update this post.

Pros
  • good stuff

Good product! Best in Solder

Water Bib ran outside. It was soldered by the builder before the drywall was installed. The copper lock saved me from cutting and repairing the wall. I just sanded the inside of the new brass breastplate a bit, attached the copper lock and inserted the copper tube into the brass fitting. It was safe for a few seconds. Has held up great!

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Doesn't work like I thought it would but does the job

I was expecting it to look like glue but it doesn't really. Instructions for tubes but I had to solder the wire (I came across a cheap, broken LED candle in a subscription box where the wire was not connected) The instructions say this can be done in 2 minutes. I held this wire in place for at least 10 minutes and it was never sticky enough to hold the wire in place. So I clamped the wire so it wouldn't fall off, but didn't need to hold it any longer and left it alone for a couple of hours…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Saved my plumbing bill

My daughter turned off my outdoor freeze hydrant and didn't think it was off so she pulled it again. She broke the valve stem off the coupler that attaches the plug to the wall of my house. The copper rod was pulled out and you could see the weld where it had just come loose. I found this product and thought I'd give it a try before attempting to take the whole faucet off the wall and possibly pay the plumbing bill and possible drywall and painting work around the house if something goes wrong.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
