I bought this to cut through some 1x6 composite wood Trex planks I was planning to install on my existing deck (replacing old wood planks). I had to rip a board lengthwise and cut a few inches off the edge of the deck. I used this in my 10 year old dewalt dw939 18v circular saw and it worked great! I have used a Concord saw blade in a table saw and after installing the saw blade noticed I saw a twist in the wood and found out why. Looking at the blade, I could see it wobble as it slowed. You will need to replace your existing 20mm inner flange with the 5/8" inner flange (Makita 224411-7) used on many other Makita LXT circular saws such as the Makita XSH03Z (there are too many compatible models to list list here).
