Returned promptly

Holes on the side to allow a screwdriver to turn, does not fit my usual screwdrivers. It doesn't even fit the 3/4 fittings we use, I didn't bother to check the 1/2 inch. So it's pretty much useless.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Difficult to use: Torque wrench

You need space in the electrical box. If you have another fitting close to the one being installed, it will not hold the nut. You have to put a lot of downward pressure to make sure it stays on the nut. You need 3 hands. Would I buy again NO. waste of money.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Reliability

This is the tool I was looking for.

This tool makes tightening hard-to-reach locknuts in electrical knockout boxes that much easier because it's a large tool. It also makes it easier to install the lock nuts so you know you've tightened the nut. I take this tool with me to every HVAC installation. This is superior to the hammer-screwdriver combination technique, which barely worked. I knew there had to be a better way.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Weight

Only works for some styles.

It quickly became apparent that this tool only works with certain types of 1/2 and 3/4 locknuts. To my surprise, the large box of 3/4 lock nuts we have at work doesn't fit this tool. They are just a little too big to fit in the hole. Since this tool only works for one thing (loosening/tightening jam nuts), I was disappointed that it's shape doesn't make it work when the jam nut is on the back of the junction box. I will add photos to this review to show the issues I had with it.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

I really liked the concept and had high hopes but it didn't.

I really liked the concept and had high hopes, but it doesn't work very well, at least not for me. I'm leaving it for now and hopefully find it useful for new installations Pros Well done Clever design Cons Do not remove stuck locknuts Attempting to tighten the nut with a screwdriver failed. It would be better if you could lock the tool and use it as a wrench. It was too big to fit on the nut in the Steel City box. The pins are not long enough to catch the nut and come loose.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
