Conntek EV1030T 30-Amp NEMA 10-30P Dryer Plug to 50-Amp Electric Vehicle Adapter - Compatible with Tesla EVs Review

I have a Tesla 3 and bought this adapter based on the reviews, it worked the first time and then broke the circuit the next few times. I was told that the circuit on the machine is disconnected. I set it to 24A as per the reviews. I called Tesla support but they recommended trying a Tesla adapter. If that doesn't work, I'll most likely need to change the garage voltage. Any suggestions?

So I've been using this adapter daily for a year to charge my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with no problems. It's so nice to be able to charge the van in 2 hours without having to install anything in the garage compared to 14 hours with a traditional outlet. I also took a previous reviewer's advice to extend the length with a Camco 50A cable and charging the van in the driveway when we parked the van in the driveway was good advice. In general I am very happy.

This is exactly what I needed. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and it's great! I no longer have to queue at these gas stations. I just drive it into my garage (first from the back). I then use this plug and plug it into the dryer socket which is next to my garage. I set my car's booster to 25 and after 2 hours of charging I drove 50-55 miles. BTW, I wanted to test what would happen if I set the amp to 40 and in fact it tripped my circuit breakers every time. For me, 25 amps is optimal.
