Will it work?: Solid food

Will getting him to eat really work? I don't know but he certainly enjoyed playing with his food and scooping up a few pieces I hope. Cool idea whether they work or not and they seem very well made.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great for a sensory baby

Bought for my nephew who has a sensory disorder and we were having a really hard time getting him to eat until my sister said he actually uses this utensil! I'm so happy for his success in something so simple and he loves tractors very much!

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Crumpled

He eats! - Cookware

I bought these for my 3 year old who refuses to eat. I don't know how he thrives on juice and dew, but I had a really hard time getting him to eat anything other than crackers and candy. So I could get him to eat. He mostly wants to play with them, but this makes feeding negotiations easier.

Good idea, quite difficult to use

My building materials freak son DEFINITELY WANTED to use this utensil more than regular forks and spoons but the fork is not sharp enough to pierce his food as easily as a normal flat metal fork for toddlers. Not as helpful as I had hoped. A child sits next to me and grabs a fork to eat.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

Helping our picky eaters stay interested at the table

Here we state the obvious - our 3 year old son who is obsessed with construction equipment just wanted to play with them when we first brought them to us introduced to meals - and he lost interest in food. So we put them aside for a few days and set clear expectations for the next time we get them: It's for groceries. Now he happily pushes food into a forklift and chews. This helps him maintain his interest in the table long enough for him to eat until he's full! My husband thought some of theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best of
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Utensils only, plates not included

The listing was a bit misleading. The title was very verbose and the photos included images of the plate that comes with the utensils. The $15 price also confirmed that I was buying dishes AND a plate. Not so. Dishes only. The fault is mine, I just wish the list was worded better. $15 for 3 dishes would probably change my mind. However, my child loves them.

Pros
  • Building supplies are designed to work together to combine eating and play
Cons

Very long winded. The best cutlery sets

Durability by 5. After the dog ate them, they still worked! However, we replaced them and still love them. Wash daily in the dishwasher, use 3-5 times a day. We bought the first set in Canada and received it 4 years before the dog got it. I know this set is going to last a LONG time through Revain. Love how they scoop and push groceries with short handles for little hands. My son loves that he can play with his food.

Pros
  • Trusted by professionals to develop independence and fine motor skills
Cons
  • Some little things
