Helped solve my problem with my corvette squeaking.

My Corvette no longer squeaks! Driven through the winter without creaking. Hardly ever. I have a wobbly harmonic balancer and my regular belt squeaks uncomfortably. Wanted to try delaying replacing the balancer with this strap and it works. Both belts replaced

As always, this is the best!

Always the right belt. Dayco belts suck and even gatorback belts can't handle things like that. Silent in ALL conditions. If you pour water from the hose onto the belt, there will still be dirt on the pulleys from the mechanic's sloppy work, never mind. These belts drive, these belts are silent and you have to replace all your belts with them.

Script decided! Best in Belts

Bought this belt for my 2002 Pontiac Firebird to see if it would eliminate the squeaking from the accessory belt area. That helped and saved me from having to replace the A/C compressor bearing. The belt feels solid despite the rib pattern. It also seems tight at the pulleys. My old belt loosened a little after a few thousand kilometers. All in all I am very impressed. Gatorback will be my favorite belt from now on.

Wrong part for LS1 application!

Everything about this waistline is great: quality, durability, design. It's common to change, so knowing which belt fits an 18 year old Camaro SS is trial and error (reading forums, posts by others, google). In this case it was a big mistake, the belt slips so much there's no point running to see how it fits, I can put my fist over that AC pulley there, that's how much slack I have! This is a return, I will try Conti 4040390 and 4040385 in a few days when they arrive.
