Quality Tensioner for Smooth Car Performance

The Continental Elite Tensioner is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast. It's a superior quality component that ensures the smooth performance of your car's belts. With its sturdy construction, the tensioner keeps the belts tight, minimizing any slackness that could lead to slipping or noise. The installation process is straightforward and does not require any special tools. The only downside is that it's a bit pricier than other tensioners, but the added cost is worth the product's…

Pros
  • Reliable performance and improved belt life
Cons
  • Potential for premature wear and tear on other components due to increased tension

200,000 miles in belts, hoses and pulleys

I got this along with a Gator belt and the engine runs weaker thanks to the tensioner, the old one had a worn pulley and was very nasty

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • dented

Works like a master on belts, hoses and pulleys

Arrived well packaged. I had an Original that put over 158,000 miles on my daughter's 2001 Track 4.0. The instructions were easy to follow and install, thanks, your engine is now purring like a cat again. If you have a strange noise coming from the hood, if you're not sure, use a long screwdriver with the engine running and press lightly against the part while it's idling, being careful not to hit any moving parts, you'll hear one swirling noise that is also good for checking your injectors.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some little things
