Great Tensioner for Automotive Belts

According to my experience, this tensioner is a perfect fit for my car. It has a great design that makes it easy to install and it also keeps the belts tight and aligned properly. I've been using it for around a year and have had no issues with it so far. The pros of this tensioner include its durability, functionality, and ease of installation. The only con is that it is slightly more expensive than some other options on the market, but the quality justifies the price. Overall, I highly…

Pros
  • Provides superior performance and durability due to its advanced technology
Cons
  • Installation could be difficult for those without mechanical experience

2006 Trailblazer LS EXT

Sweat-free single bolt (15mm head) removal and replacement. So far I'm only giving 4 stars because I haven't driven the truck yet. It's a little tricky to get tools on the tensioner to loosen the tension on the belt. I cut open the old belt to remove it. Then I simply pushed the new tensioner in by hand (and with body weight!) after routing the new belt and slipped the belt over the power steering pulley. Pretty easy to fix. That must have taken 5-10 minutes.

Pros
  • Belt Tensioner
Cons
  • Security

I thought I was wrong because they look different (the slot for the tension release ratchet is in a different place). I sat down at the computer and made sure it was the right one, so I thought what the heck could I try. This one is identical to the OEM and works great. At the same time I installed the new belt and had to watch the video for a clue on how to get…
