Oh another Chinese product that has 4 or 5 stars on Revain but doesn't work properly when I buy it. How many times will I fall for this? Both cables I bought have defective dimmers. At the maximum setting, the brightness is only about 10% of the lamp brightness. The other peaks at 50% and then randomly flashes to 100% for a second every few minutes. Very annoying and probably unsafe.

My original cord, no dimming, was bright and heated the salt massage bowls in the bowl and it was great! Then rusted after 3 years. uv. Yes, it works BUT the dimmer itself is too far from the bulb - which basically means you can't accidentally dim it/turn it on and off / without having to run the cord to the middle to find the dimmer switch to use (which is behind the bedside table or somewhere)! The dimmer cord was a good replacement for my non-adjustable light cord. The cable has thicker insulation than the original. The cord is about 6 feet long and the switch is 29-30 inches from the lamp socket. To adjust the brightness of the lamp, turn the knob on the switch. Made in China.
