Went for this type of shut-off instead of the quick connect types of fittings even though I will have to thread attachments off/on because their construction will last forever (the quick-connect type don’t).

Just ass I hoped I have a garden that takes 3 100 ft. hoses to water from one end to the other and instead of having to walk from my hose reel shut off the 300 ft at most I have to walk only 100 ft to move the sprinkler end. Its well made, would stand being run over by equipment or even my truck and because it is brass on brass fittings it should never seize up.

These are made great! But if you don’t have strong fingers or you have arthritis like me - these knobs are so small it’s difficult to turn off.I have had plastic that are easier but they break - I’m going to keep looking for ones with larger brass knobs.

Wanna stay dry while using the hose? These are not for you. Swivel portion leaks at least 50% of the time. That's my review.

This outstanding valve is easy to open/close and to mount securely on faucet bib.It securely withstands 86 psig without any leaks (seller rates it up to 200 psi).

Forget the similar products at your local big box stores. These will not leak and pull apart with very little effort. Try them folks, be glad you did.

This is the second batch for me. The first ones are working as-expected 2 years later due to the durable brass construction. When installing this set, the first operation of the shut off was very difficult. After that, it's silky smooth.

Beats looking at an old spiket It looks and works great.If it leaks a little Teflon tape does the trick.I would definitely buy some more.

Product works as expected. Nothing beats solid brass! Heavy duty! I also use the tubular black rubber washers sold at Home Depot for longevity.

I have gone through dozens of these shutoff valves and Hooray: these are Very well-made all brass shutoff valves! Nothing plastic and very fairly priced for two units. These should last a long time.

Didn't like that I couldn't turn cut-off valves but my son could. I had to buy an ergonomic one for me to use. Thanks for attention.

Great quality item for the price. The best feature is the shut off lever is small so it stays out of the way and doesn't snag on anything. My pair also came with 4 extra rubber hose washers.

This adapter appears to suffer from a design flaw in that it leaks easily from two locations identified in the image. The adapter itself is two separate parts of which your standard hose washers (like the extra ones included with this purchase) are just ill equip to fully prevent the flow of water; which will then get to the metal on metal part of the connection and leak in spot #2. I tried higher quality washers that have solved problems like this before pretty easily, eg with an older quick…

No finesse in the water flow adjustment, too little, then suddenly too much. Try to go back and forth, but still the same.

I wanted a valve like this to keep on the end of my garden hose for some times that I don't want to use a normal sprayer but still need on off feature. When I got it I was disappointed to see how small the outlet hole was but once I hooked it up it still has a good flow. Even if I loose a little flow it is worth it not having to walk from the driveway back to the house to turn the water on and off.

These are so useful when you want to change the hose nozzle without having to walk back to spigot, which is far away. Brass makes them durable, with basic switch valve, no washers etc.

Metal casing gives a sense of sturdiness. Only have had it for about a month. No leaks. Cutoff valve works well and easy to move after a few uses.

They have some heft to them unlike the zinc and plastic ones at the big box stores. The first time I tried to turn off the valve I had to use a pliers but after that it worked fine. Well made and I'm sure will last longer than what I've been used to. Well worth the money.

Ive had a brass one for decades. These look like they will last the same. Was very hard for me to find these but glad I did. That's my review.

Solid and we'll built. Much better than the valve with the plastic knob at the local hardware store, which they stopped selling anyway.
