Overpriced and Ineffective IP Extender

Based on my observations this product is not worth the steep price tag. Despite claims of high-quality transmission, the picture was choppy and the sound was inconsistent. The only pro is THAT it was easy to install. Unfortunately, its failure to deliver a reliable signal make it a poor investment for anyone seeking to extend their viewing capabilities..

Pros
  • Easy and simple installation
Cons
  • Requires a stable and reliable network connection for optimal performance

Amazing IP Extender for HDTCP

The CT HDTCP IP Extender is incredible! Based on my observations, it delivers clear and stable IP transmission to my HDTCP devices .I am impressed with its ability to extend signals over long distances without losing quality. The compact design makes it easy to install and use. The only downside is the price, but given the high-quality output it`s worth it. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch IP Extender..

Pros
  • clear and stable IP transmission, compact design
Cons
  • expensive

Is working. But it requires some networking experience to work well.

The device works, but I had some problems. The direct connection between the devices works perfectly. However, when running devices across the network, I noticed a lot of multicast/broadcast traffic. This traffic was overloading my network and causing a drastic drop in overall network speed, and my wireless network was intermittent/extremely slow. However, I was able to fix this by configuring VLANs and "IGMP snooping" on my network switches (NETGEAR ProSAFE JGS516PE 16-Port Gigabit PoE Plus…

Pros
  • CAT5e/6 cable conforms to the IEEE 568B standard
Cons
  • Nothing
