Robust construction.

These little converters are solid guys. But similar products for sale are probably made in the same factory, but DROK is a pretty solid brand.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Works perfectly. on power converters

Has been working as advertised for a few months. Used to provide a 12v outlet with a 24v solar array and charge phones and laptops during this time. No questions.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Replacement availability

Only outputs 6.23V, not 12V

Outputs only 6.23V when connected to a 19.4V Ryobi battery No adjustment screw. The order doesn't show up in my Revain order history so I can't even contact the seller. threw.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to tell

High Reliability, Reasonable Price

This thing powers the linear actuator lift in the battle robot. It's properly awash and has taken ridiculously big hits, bumps and bumps like a champ.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some Problems

Used this for my daughter's Power Wheels which I upgraded to 24v. Reduces lights etc to 12 volts and works great. I have about 5 lights that work and beep with no problems after a few months. Very happy with it. The wires are a good size so you don't have to worry about them fraying etc.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Ideal for this application

Ideal for this application, great design and easy to use. This was done to install an LED strip on a boat ramp (big fancy one). Boot wired 24V DC and best led for 12V DC applications. We really only needed 3 amps max, but this unit came fully installed and sealed making selection a breeze. We connect it in a second and it works fine and cool. It couldn't be better in this app. And it's an inexpensive solution for stepping down DC voltage. Very good, highly recommended

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Output 8V instead of 12V from 18V setup

Not sure if my step down is buggy or just not right for my application. I've used it to lower the Powerwheels setting from 18v to 12v for some LED lights and accessories, but under load (just a few small low power LEDs) it gave out about 9v. Registered with no load it turns out to be 12 V at the nose. I will do some more testing to see if this device works for my application or just doesn't work. However, it's super easy to hook up and feels like a very solid build.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubt
