High-Definition YPbPr to HDMI Converter: Watch 1080P Video with Audio Clarity on New HDTV and Projector Review

If your TV doesn't have an HDMI port, you need an HDMI to YpbBr interface. If you have a newer TV with HDMI ports, you'll need YpbBr-to-HDMI to bless older consoles, DVDs, etc. There are two options and the ratings apply to both, so don't get confused. Check and make sure you are connecting to a male or female YpbBr that matches the product image. I'm just trying to save people some time

The device works fine, I had a problem with 1080p on some devices and had to change the input to the converter to 720p. So be careful when trying to control an old TV that doesn't support resolutions higher than 1080i. When connected to a display that didn't accept 1080p, nothing appeared on screen until I changed the source's output resolution. Most devices allow manual adjustment of their HDMI output.

I have a 6 year old 50 inch LG. The HDMI ports are out of order. I checked what is possible. I could take the motherboard out and bake it in a hot oven to fix a crack in the HMDI processor solder on the board. Or I could buy a motherboard on EBAY for $60-$100. Both options leave open the possibility that I will ruin the whole set. I tried using coaxial cable but the picture sucked. So I spend $20 and get this. Great picture. Very satisfied.

The adapter worked great on my Panasonic TV. At first I thought it was defective as the TV turned off intermittently. Customer service tried to help and processed a device exchange. The replacement block had the same problems. After searching the internet, I found out that the maximum resolution of the adapter is 1080. The TV was set to 1080i so all I had to do was change the TV's resolution to 1080 and that solved the problem. All of this could have been avoided if there had been installation…

The device causes [on several older TVs] a loss of horizontal sync based on the content of the picture intensity. Image segments show horizontal discontinuities. This has been tested on several old TVs. Transducer O'Scope The green output indicates that the horizontal sync pulses are of low amplitude, near the black level of the video image. Older TVs try to sync the black content of the picture, not the sync pulses, causing the picture to tear up. Finally, buy another HDMI converter locally…

My old plasma TV's HDMI ports died a horrible death. Since I didn't know anything better, I didn't even order this part. I haven't used component cables in a million years. So I ordered a connector with only two RCA connectors. Oops. Tell me about the horrible picture. I went back to Revain, did more research and bought this converter. Hooray for 1080p! The device worked great and the price was perfect. Edit: I liked this device until it started to fail. The sound is interrupted and the picture
