While this is a great product, it doesn't have enough suction to pick up feces from the sand surface. You have to dig in the sand and the sand will clog the filter.

Changing the water in the aquarium has always been a problem for me because it's tiring. This product is very helpful. Seller responds quickly with patient and clear instructions.

Cleaning my aquarium is now super easy, all I had to do was make some of my own tiny filters from my current filter media that I use and I can last an hour without cleaning the filter when clogged, makes it easier to remove dirt from gravel, and pumps a large volume, recommend to friends

I bought two different floor cleaners and finally settled on this one. East money only and now it's too late to go back. It's electric, but there wasn't even enough electricity to pump water. The tube offered was too small and now I have to buy a whole new one. So I have an electric and a manual gravel sweeper and the only one worth having is the manual one that I paid $10 for. Completely disappointed in this product. Hopefully others have one that actually worked for them.

I just bought this item and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a visual person so assembling the leaf that was in the box was very easy. He showed different steps. I assembled it in a very short time. I also watched the video before buying. My aquarium is very large and it works great and cleans up in no time. I'm 71 and it was easy for me. I highly recommend this product. To replace the filter material, I bought small makeup kits from the pharmacy, which work very well. Good product

Product works as pictured however the sponges in the filter cup clog up very very quickly and if they clog the suction you will have to stop, rinse the sponges and start again. There are two sponges - one is thin and more compact, and the other is thicker but less dense. I've tried both at the same time and both and it still clogged with no waste - what it did was smooth the waste into a layer on the sponge so even a small amount would quickly stop the water flow. I needed a powerful vacuum to clean a 55 gallon tank and this item worked well. It arrived in a surprisingly small box and was easy to assemble. By the way, do not be stupid and follow the instructions, do not turn on the pump when it is not in the water.
