I don't know how you rate the knife set. They are sharp, as evidenced by the tip of my finger I found when unpacking the knives. LAUGH OUT LOUD. But seriously, great set. The knives sit well in the block, feel good in the hand and yes, they are sharp. The bonus is that the unit almost matches the finish on my cabinets. Good buy and cheap!

Received two weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the goods. The block of wood is heavy and has a good weight to support the weight of the knives. The knives are sharp and cut vegetables very smoothly. The sharpening tool is a great addition and will come in handy when they get dull. As long as they're sharp, and I'm not worried just yet! I like both the look of the knives and the feel of the handle.

Looks great so far. It was very nicely packaged and protected, each knife was encased in plastic with a protective sheath and caps on the ends of the knives to protect the sharpest ends. I love that each knife is engraved with the name of the knife as well as the brand. This gives it a professional look. The knives themselves look good for the price. Hope they work as good as they look. I will update my review if my mind changes.

We received our set this week and were impressed with first use. We had a steak to test steak knives that cut meat like butter. The knives slipped easily over the onions and the raw potatoes didn't stand a chance. I hate slicing sweet potatoes, but these knives made my job easier. I am really looking forward to using these knives. The sharpener is unexpected but a wonderful bonus. Without a doubt, they are worth their money.

I've only had them for a week and so far I like them. They were beautifully packaged and the knives and block would look great in any style of kitchen. My only complaint at the moment is that the knives are a lot heavier than the knife set I had before so it took me a while to adjust. I should also note that I bought these knives hoping they would last a few years until I saved up for a professional knife set that chefs use. Overall a great purchase for the price.

I've seen some reviewers say water gets into the grips, I've never had this problem. One thing I noticed is that if you wash a knife and let it dry overnight, the tip of the knife will rust.
