Works as advertised and easy to calibrate. Apparently made from decent quality materials, the face is easy to read. In general, the purchase is satisfied.

I bought this item on purpose because the item description said 'Made in USA'; Well it's not, it's made in China. Of course I want companies to tell the truth about their product.

I received the thermometer earlier than stated, the dial is easy to read. I checked the calibration in boiling water, it was fine. I use it to control bean/ambient temperature during coffee roasting.

I checked the thermometer out of the box and it showed 200F in boiling water. Made a slight adjustment to the dial nut on the back of the dial and now it reads exactly as expected. So just test it before first use and you're good to go.
