Cordless Blackout Cellular Honeycomb Beige White Review

I was very excited to be able to use this to fight the Vegas heatwaves, but unfortunately it doesn't pull all the way down, even though I measured correctly. It's a full foot different than the size I ordered. If I pull him down more than he wants, he immediately pulls himself back in. The concept is good, they look good. Too bad it did not work.

So far so good with these shades. We bought 2 of this size and 1 smaller. The only problem is the larger sizes have trouble staying open, the longer we've had them (already a month) the more they stay down. We were creative in getting them to stay down. In the part you take there is a hole that we used some clips for. I've bought a similar shade from Lowe's for a lot more and I find this one just stays put.

They are incredibly easy and quick to install! As for dimming rooms, they definitely dim! The only light visible is at the very edges, where of course there is a tiny gap. First they installed them in our room. We liked them so much we added them to the ridiculous early riser's room. Without having to worry about wires I was relieved to find a solution for her east facing room! She thinks she's a big deal because she can pick her up herself to look outside.

So I thought these shades were a good deal and I liked the two tones so that white was on the outside. However, you need to lift them up, not just lift them up. I also had to hold them all the way down to keep them down when I needed them as they bounced and didn't even cover 3/4 of the window. So it took about a week. A few days ago one side of the lampshade just stopped working so when lifted one side stays on and up while the other side hangs.

This shade is advertised as a blackout which I thought was impossible. However, it is actually a darker shade! Sunlight. This is very important as my window faces the sun directly and otherwise it would look straight at me early in the morning at work. It also seems to reduce heat streaming through the window, which I totally underestimated. In a nutshell. This product exceeded my expectations in every way.

I replaced the roller blinds and blackout curtains on each window with these curtains. They fit perfectly, each window took about 5 minutes and that's because I measured the hangers where I wanted them on the inside of the window. Once hung, they dropped easily, stayed put and were easy to pick up again. I think they are as black as the curtains, if not more because they fit the window frame. Can be mounted on the inside of the window sill or on the outside, universal bracket. You don't have to be very precise when aligning the brackets either. I just used my fingertips to measure the depth. I'm sure it's a little crooked, but you can't even tell. I was literally able to quickly install this myself with a simple hand screwdriver. You are really good. Ease of installation. After I figured out the first, the second was up and running in less than 5 minutes. The blue cast corresponds to the picture, maybe a little darker. Taking off 1 star because I can't quite stretch them to cover the full length of the window. Maybe it's a downside to this type of design in general, but I measured it at 58 inches, not 64. It's ok but I doubt they will last long. I installed two of these in the kids room and these blinds do a good job of blackout out. One of the blinds didn't close all the way. It retreated further six inches. Luckily I got one that was a few inches longer than my window so I could stretch it as long as I could. After about 5 full stretches, it will only spring back half an inch. I always have to pull the shade a little longer to cover the full length of the window. The fabric is also very stiff…
